Company - Syrris - Flow Reactors and Reactor Systems for Chemists
Company
Syrris is a world leader in high quality, innovative products for research and development chemists and chemical engineers.
Since forming in 2001, Syrris has grown year on year and now has products in hundreds of chemical companies and academic institutions worldwide including all of the top 20 pharma companies.
Background
Based in Royston (near Cambridge), UK, Syrris has subsidiary offices in the USA, Japan, India and Brazil and over 30 distributors worldwide offering technical assistance and support.
Syrris takes pride in designing, developing and selling easy to use automated products for chemists in areas such as the pharmaceutical industry, academia, CROs, petrochemical industry etc.
These versatile products cover a broad range of applications from synthesis, process optimisation and reaction analysis to crystallisation, calorimetry, scale-up and many more. Syrris have two major product types: batch reactor systems and flow reactor systems.
Market leader in flow chemistry products
Syrris’ innovative flow chemistry products deliver fast, clean and safe chemical reactions. They are ideal for process optimization.
The flow product families are made up of Asia, the most advanced and easy to use flow chemistry system available, Africa, a fully-automated microreactor flow system and FRX, a modular flow chemistry system. The Asia product range includes a high pressure, incredibly smooth and highly chemically compatible flow chemistry pump.
These flow chemistry products enable exciting opportunities to integrate traditionally separate processes and increase the speed of discovery and development.
The best value process reactors in the world
The batch reactor product families are called Globe and Atlas. Globe is a jacketed reactor platform that saves time, money and space by enabling vessels from 50ml to 5L to be used with the same clamp, lid, circulator and stand. Atlas is a revolutionary range of modular products. Atlas offers manual or automated control of one or many reactions at a time with volumes from µl to 5 litres in jacketed reactors, flasks or vials.
Syrris also offers the Reactor Master system for automating other manufacturers’ jacketed reactors and Custom Reactor Systems for volumes up to 250 litres, very high temperatures / pressures, different materials, etc.
Syrris’ product range also includes innovative bioisostere replacement software called Medstere. Designed specifically for medicinal chemists, Medstere shortens lead optimization cycles by suggesting thousands of obvious and non-obvious alternatives to a known lead.
