Water-in-oil droplets using Dolomite's advanced hydrophobic coating treatment
Syrris sister company, Dolomite Microfluidics, have created Micro Droplet Systems that automatically and seamlessly produce monodispersed droplets. These systems are ideal for droplet-based nanoparticle synthesis and give the scientist tight control over reagent loading and mixing, resulting in nanoparticles that have excellent dispersity and high reproducibility.

The Micro Droplet Systems benefit a wide range of applications including compartmentalised chemistry, high throughput experimentations and the production of emulsions.
The droplet systems are built around Dolomite’s pulseless pressure pumps, connectors and chips and include a range of Droplet Junction Chips.
Dolomite’s Droplet Advanced System is a flexible, high-performance solution for droplet microfluidics. It is supplied with a choice of five flow resistors to maximise control over flow rates and droplet size and formation.
Developed for generation, collection and analysis of droplets, the Droplet Collection System produces emulsions which consist of highly monodispersed droplets. This modular system is ideal for research in a range of applications.
The powerful Telos System is ideal for parallel and high throughput microfluidic processes. Telos operates from 0-10bar (150psi) and 4-80°C, can be assembled quickly without tools, and allows litres of droplets to be produced in a day.
The Small Droplet System is ideal for producing and analysing highly stable microemulsions of higher interfacial area. The system features a series of parallel droplet junctions that produce highly monodispersed water-in-hexadecane micro-droplets, 5µm to 30µm in diameter.
The Parallel Droplet System can produce up to 30,000 micro-droplets per second. It uses six flow-focussing junctions in parallel to achieve generation rates rising to 30 kHz, as well as Dolomite's leading Mitos P-Pump and Multiflux-2 range of interfaces.
