Syrris to present at ISBC International Conference in India

Expanding on Indian success

Syrris will be presenting at the 15th ISCB International Conference in Saurashtra University, Rajkot, India from 4 – 7 February. India saw Syrris’s 4th largest sales total in 2010 and looks only to grow in 2011. As such, Syrris is delighted that its Head of Sales Dr Omar Jina will discuss ‘Chemistry methodologies and how technology can help improve productivity in the 21st century’ at this regional conference.

Dr Jina will provide a comprehensive review of the historical approaches to organic chemistry. He will also discuss some of the latest developments in relation to the automation of practical chemistry, flow chemistry and software to help users make more informed decisions in successfully streamlining their research.

Syrris attended many successful events in India during 2010, including the ‘Practical Applications of Modern Tools in Organic Synthesis and Purification’ (at the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology). Attendance of such Indian-based events, alongside the excellent service and support for customers in India, has significantly contributed to Syrris’s success in this market.

Syrris designs and manufactures world-leading flow chemistry, microreactor and automation products for research and development chemists. The company’s flow chemistry products include Asia, a scalable and modular range of flow chemistry systems, and Africa, a fully-automated microreactor flow system. Syrris’s batch reactor products include Atlas, a manual or automated system for control of one or parallel reactions in vials, flasks or jacketed reactors.

Syrris formally announced the incorporation of its Indian subsidiary at the beginning of June 2009.
