Atlas Jacketed Vessel Systems from 50ml to 5 litres video
Atlas is the most flexible and easy to use jacketed reactor system available. Its modularity allows control of single or parallel jacketed reactors with volumes from 50ml to 5 litres. Systems can either be manually controlled, automatically controlled by the Atlas Base or fully automated using PC Software.
Atlas is the most flexible and easy to use jacketed reactor system available. Its modularity allows control of single or parallel jacketed reactors with volumes from 50ml to 5 litres.
Systems can either be manually controlled, automatically controlled by the Atlas Base or fully automated using the Atlas PC Software.
All Atlas jacketed reactor systems are based on the Atlas Potassium System, which can be upgraded to perform a range of processes.
The Atlas Potassium System can be assembled in minutes without tools. The support rods, oil drain unit, overhead stirrer pole and jacketed vessel quick clamp are easily connected to the base. This allow vessels from 50ml to 5 litres in glass, stainless steel or hastelloy to be located in seconds.
The stirrer seal and guide which offers easy height adjustment of the stirrer, locates on to the lid, which can then be clamped to the vessel with a simple click. Clipping on the stirrer motor now allows manual or automated stirring. Sensors such as temperature, pH or turbidity probes plugged into the Atlas base, are automatically detected.
Finally, attaching the quick oil pipe connectors to the jacketed vessel allows thermoregulator fluid to accurately control the reactor temperature.
By connecting the RS232 port of the Atlas base to a circulator, it intelligently controls the circulator to maintain the correct reactor temperature.
The button on the oil drain unit means reactors can be safely and cleanly drained of circulator fluid and the quick connectors and clamp means vessels can be changed in under a minute, avoiding any spills.
The Atlas Syringe Pump offers automatic reagent dosing for simple additions. It can also provide sophisticated actions such as pH control and temperature controlled additions. Controlled by the Atlas Base or used by itself, the versatile Syringe Pump can be configured into two independent refilling flows, one continuous flow or auto-sampling.
When used with the base, heating, stirring and dosing profiles can be set and automatically run, without a PC.
All sensor data and setpoints are continuously logged and displayed in real time and all data can be downloaded to a USB memory stick. For more advanced control or many reactors controlled in parallel, please see the software video.
