Asia is an award winning range of modular, chemically resistant flow chemistry products from Syrris. This video shows some of the synthesis modules and flow reactors of the Asia system. The modularity gives the freedom to upgrade or add new flow chemistry modules at any time. Each, easy to use Asia system is made up modules that can either be controlled in isolation or fully automated. Choose from a wide range of flow reactors including: Glass or quartz microreactors, from 62.5 µl to 1 mL: for high chemical resistance and visibility coupled with a wide temperature and pressure range — ideal for optimization. For larger scale reactions, Asia offers Stainless Steel, Hastelloy or Fluoropolymer tube reactors from 4 mL to 16 mL — ideal for scale-up. For solid phase chemistry such a heterogeneous catalysts, solid supported reagents or scavengers, use the Asia Solid Phase reactors. Multiple reactors can be connected in series, even at different temperatures. For temperature control of flow reactors, choose from two sophisticated modules: The Chip Climate Controller, this enables microreactors to be cooled or heated from -15 °C to +150 °C, all without the need for an external circulator or cold water supply. Alternatively, for heating a range of different flow reactors up to 250°C, choose the Asia Heater. This features three easy to change adaptors, to accept microreactors, tube reactors, or solid phase reactors. The Reagent Injector features two extremely chemically resistant injection valves and user changeable sample loops. It enables small scale synthesis by independently or simultaneously switching small volumes of substrates or reagents into the system. The Pressure Controller. This module enables user settable pressures up to 20 bar. It features an easily removable back pressure regulator and is key to superheating flow reactions and suppressing bubble formation.
