The bench unit is sophisticated temperature controlled bath in which the reactor vessel itself is immersed. The fluid inside the bath absorbs the heat generated in the reactor during exothermic processes and serves as another safety system of the Chemisens calorimeter. The reactor is placed in the unit through opening at the top, and the reaction can be visually observed through the illuminated sight window made of unbreakable glass. The bench unit requires external cooling. Process water can be used, but to unlock the full potential, an open bath circulator is strongly recommended.

Note: The CPA201 doesn’t support adiabatic and low power thermal modes.
